Keep on thinking positive! I was supposed to meet up with you and some area writers a few weeks ago in Chicago, but my schedule seemed to take over my life and I missed you! I am so excited to read Wife 22! Stay busy and thank you for the book suggestions...

LOVE Stewart O'Nan!!! Just read "The Odds", his latest novel, last week and highly recommend it. I've been reading like crazy lately as well...though, freakishly and annoyingly enough, I keep the tv on sometimes...which drives my husband crazy.

Hi there!
I just finished reading your book Pucker!
It took me a total of two days and between work, school and my little one who is 5 months, I literally couldn't put it down!
I was reading through the comments on here and I must admit, I'm distraught that there is no sequal for me to look forward to!
I don't suppose I could talk you into it? :)
Thanks again for Pucker..incredible!

Thank you so much, Janette. We just adopted an eight-year-old lab--who happens to be the opposite of demanding!

Hello Melaine -
I am currently in Costa Rica and spent the week in Monteverde. We stayed at Historias Lodge, wonderful hostel outside of the Cloud Forest. I walked into the main lobby and found your book, The Slippery Year on the book exchange shelf. I am almost finished and heading back to the states tomorrow.
Your memoir was a rollarcoaster of fun and I could not get enough. It's as if someone peeked into my life and wrote about it. I have a wonderful, quirky husband and an 8 year old son. Your story of Bodhi is parallel to ours with our dog Duke and the mattress delimma, let's just say, we are still moving through that landmine.
Thank you for sharing your story with me. Ihave not found an author or writing that touched me and moved me in a long time. You made me laugh, you make my husband life and you have challenged me to "trust in the safe places"
All the best in your writing journey!

I just finished reading A Slippery Year and wanted to let you know it was fabulous! As a frustrated writer living in the Bay Area, it was a great piece to read that really resonated with me despite the fact I don't even have a child, but I do have a very demanding dog.

Thanks again for a great read and I hope the Bens are doing well.
