Thanks for posting this chapter. Your voice is so natural in this and in “The Mattress Wars”. Both of my daughters are at or approaching mid-forty. I think they’d really enjoy your book when it comes out. I mentioned in an earlier note to you that one of my daughters lived in SF for several years. She’ll relate to the locale well. They’re both married, each have two kids (no more) and have probably shared many of your thoughts.
Don’t forget to read something by Wallace Stegner.
Glad to see (Face Book) that you also read some Virginia Woolf. Her essay, “A Room of One’s Own” is classic. And I’m sure you’ve read Hours, if you like Woolf, or maybe seen the film. Both good.
Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed this chapter. It does make you want to read more.
